Wash and dry all produce.

In a #small pot{}, combine @jasmine rice{1%cup}, 1¼ cups water, and a pinch of @salt{1%tsp}. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat to low. Cook until tender ~{15%minutes}.

While rice cooks, pat @ranch steak{1%package} dry with paper towels; season all over with @salt{1%tsp} and @black pepper{1%tsp}.

In a #small bowl{}, combine @ginger{1%in}, @scallions{1%bunch} (greens), 2 TBSP @cooking oil{2%tbsp}, and a pinch of @salt{1%tsp}. Cover bowl with plastic wrap. Microwave until fragrant ~{30%seconds}. Stir and set aside.
